PM me the price, if you would. I usually don't like to flip vendors, once a GB is rolling just out of respect, but we don't have any vendor "committed" AND are asking for quite the discount.
Like I said, I will get my price on Monday. I think it will be $1300 delivered, which is the best I could do, IF we get 10 in. Then, we can decide what to do. I want the thing anyways so I am willing to make a move, but some have been distracted by all the VRP goodies that we are linning up for the Cali cars.

Ok screw this group buy stuff...

If you want the Quaife (part no. 48.309.185) I will do it RIGHT NOW for $1350 with FREE shipping in the continental US and if WE install the unit I will do it for $1300 plus install which will be at a discounted rate for MBWorld members.

For all other vehicles call for your discounted price.

This offer is good until Feb 1st unless a deposit is taken before that date.

Thanks to Jeff and 110 motoring for offering this great price, if we could just get more info on installation; how much time, what other parts are needed, what are the factory specs & clearences, I think more people would be buying them but finding someone to install is not easy, especially on east coast, dealerships don't want to do it, they just swap out the complete rear assembly

I'd like to know more about what we'd see with this upgrade. I've got an idea, but no hard definition.

LOL!! That is too funny. Well, I got a price of $1300 shipped, but only for the US. The European customers will be serviced by the UK headquarters. In this case, I'd be cool with going with our sponsor, instead. i usually do not like to play the price matching game, since the one that actually offered the lowest price looses, but in this case I have no loyalty to Autotech (Quaife USA) and 101 has been helpful. Is it possible that Jeff can meet the $1300 delivered? If so, I promise to get a few more on here.

Assuming 101 is cool with meeting us with the $1300 price, could they please add a GB page to do the transactions? I can do a Paypal one, but they charge.

Any clue where this stands now? It sounds like a GB is needed to get the $1350 price. One here or there won't do it. Does 110 need to post a GB link for us to get this rolling?

Brian...why do you need a group buy for $1350?

I called them today and unfortunately they can't honor the price without a group buy. One at time won't buy the price down from Quaife to 110 so it seems Jeff spoke a bit too early. So if we really need a GB then I'd think they need to post one or withdraw the offer completely.

So, is this a mistake or just an outright lie?

The post is very clear about not having to use a group buy and the $1350 price. If it were a mistake, then it should have been retracted once he was aware of the mistake. It seems to me that you made them aware yesterday.

Hmm, ok. Seems odd that they would be that way, considering the interest. The difference in money that we are talking is NOT that much, compared to building a customer base.

Oddly enough, I said in an earlier post that I don't like to screw the vendor that i was working with for the guy that pops in at the end and say they can match it and here we go again.

****.

They told me they sold one at that price and it ended up being below their cost so they couldn't do it again. I had card in hand ready to order but no luck.
