C63 runs 12.3 @ 116 MPH?
Car and Driver got 12.3 @ 116 MPH out of the C63 and 0-60 is 3.9 clicks...... the C63 will probably be pulling on the the E63 at any speed..... hope MB ups the ante somehow with the E!

When I read that article last weekend I was in shock.But if it weighs very close to the E63,but with 50+ less hp how can that be?Great for sales,but I will have to wait&see one actually do that in person before I'm completely convinced....

Several MB's Superperformance MK III Cobra
For some reason Car and Driver always gets better test times than the other mag's. I recently saw the test results on the Lexus IS-F and C&D's times were close to 1/2 second faster 0-60 and in the quarter than the other testers.

im gonna puke. of course the m3 wins. and in this incarnation the m3 has steel 14 inch wheels, a horizontally opposed 2 cylinder bmw motorcycle engine, front right wheel drive and a 3 speed torque flight "on the tree" tranny...

didn't think the C63 would be that heavy, but wow, over 4000 pounds? maybe it's a mistake? it could also be under-rated by MB, and be putting out more power....
as for the M3.... not interested in the weakling.... 150 pounds less torque? forget it.... and they compared it against the M3 coupe anyway....

Love the M3.... At least the C63 is actually competing this time with their competition. First one ever, in looks and in performance. I must admit it does run some sick numbers.

This pretty much confirms that all 6.3 AMG cars have around 500bhp and that the "detuning" thing is a bunch of marketing BS. Don't forget the 0-60 too, its 3.9 seconds

If these are infact correct #'s the C63 obviously FLYS. I would love to buy one, however, I do not think i wan't a smaller car!

I don't know why they complain about the harsh ride when it has adjustable airmatic suspension. Why not just change the setting? In fact they didn't even mention it. Other reviewers have complimented the ride as being superior to the M cars and current C.
