Just got the car back Friday...
5 weeks getting performance mods done...6 weeks at the audio visual shop...95% done.

I'm headed to vacation this week and some final trim pieces and audio sound tweaking will be done while I'm gone. The wait was frustrating but worth it...I've driven it a day and it is night and day from stock. The audio visual upgrades are fantastic...
PS I just got my wife a C300 and it is a great ride...definitely get the multimedia option...worth every penny.

I think you can get a similar Mercedes version, but you are going to pay a lot more jack than I did.

Two more pics...
The Kenwood unit is really trick. Once you get a handle on menu screens and how to navigate via touch screen, its pretty easy. The integration of Garmin GPS with the Kenwood unit is really well done. Kenwood/Garmin GPS is really simple stupid to use and already having a portable Garmin Nuvi 370 it made the transition a snap.
The OEM nav on my wifes C300 is ok, but not as easy to navigate as mine.

I am serious man, that is the greatest looking AMG motor I have EVER seen.
100%, you need to send a pic of that to AMG.
What a sweet option that would be to order.

The install shop is Carisma Audio in Tampa (Jason - installer/owner). The water transfer/clear coat of all the trim pieces up front and back were done by a specialist in the Tampa Bay area. Give Jason a call @ 813-884-9000 about the details on the water transfer specialist.

Inspirational Engine Bay... very nice! Except for the possibilty of weight reduction and of course the visual WOW! factor, any performance gain from this?
On the A/V part: Again , very nice. Flows well with the dash. I admire the risk taken to gain a unique, and most defnitely a more functional look.
Reminds me of my old Escalade EXT that pretty much went through a dashboard transformation when I decided to go Blackwood on majority of the pieces.
Are you able to control any of the functions of the Kenwood via steering wheel?

Nice....
I'm heading to C2 on Tuesday for a K40 install. Now I'm going to have to think about all the other options while I'm there
Seriously, looks great all around!
