And this is why I don't engage in 100 MPH+ street racing.
About 6 months ago some military kids (1 driver, 2 passengers) were racing their new BMW just 12 blocks away from my house. Spun out of control, hit a light pole, all ejected and killed, and one of them was cut in half. People still lay flowers at the pole. Just crazy.

I say kudos to the pole for not letting the car get too far onto the pavement and not really budging - despite the M5's efforts. Embarassingly I took a street light right out of the ground once - head on - and I was not even going that fast - ironically also in a BMW.... but I digress.
Ferking idiot racing on a street like that.... but still he must have put some lengths on the Aston, untill he got stuck....

Here's the real story for those of you interested. It wasn't a kid driving it but rather, what I would call, a less than desirable member of society. Sounds like it wouldn't have been a great loss had he not survived the accident.

Looking a the image isn't that the weak spot on the BMW 5 serieces that was reported in the crash testing a few months back??

What goes around comes around it seems in this case. The guys a a real piece of work, convicted drug dealer and pimp ... do me a favour ... I dont care if the rats get hold of his sensitive bits .... and take their time.
