Hello everyone

Usually I just lurk around, reading this great forum. I had a quick question though, for those of you who had your tail lights smoked, where did you get it done? Tint shop? Body shop? or did you actually order smoked lenses from an after market company?

Thanks in advance for any assistance

Where do you live??
Try a body shop, they did mine and can adjust for how dark or light you want. Remember though its better to be too light first than too dark. No going backwards.

Did them myself... Used VHT nightshades spray tint, let dry, then did a light wet sanding, then cleared. Let cure overnight, another light wet sanding, then polished! Came out perfect!!

i got mine from a bodyshop.. i didnt want it too dark.. so its basicly darkend stock red. they mixed paint with cleared coat, lightly sanded down the taillights to take off stock clearcoat, then just painted 3 coats of that paint over it, 5 mins apart, then 40 mins to dry, and i went home.. looks very pro

If he did it at the place where he got his license plate from, then the place is called F1 Motorsports in North Hollywood.

Mine were taken out to get done. The third light broke, so that was an extra $150 but oh well....
