E63-Sprint Booster makes it less of a "sheep in wolf's clothing".

Juicee, check out my comment on post #58 of this thread posted on 11/25/2007...... I posted that comment when the fastest stock E63 was 12.5 to 12.6. Here it is again.....
Only 3 months after my post, my E63 went from 12.5 to 12.2 and Oldgixxer's E63 actually hit the low 12.1
So maybe low 12s is possible

Two weeks ago I drove my first E63, belonging to a friend, and was totally shocked by how flat, laggy and unresponsive it felt compared to my E55 with AMG Sprint Booster.
There is just no way that anybody in their right mind who previously owned any of the 55K powered cars, would willingly "upgrade" to any of the new 63 powered vehicles (except DerekFSU, LOL).That leaves the new crop of unsuspecting, aspiring AMG owners who don't know what they are missing.
There is a small remedy for the long gas pedal travel, which delays the E63's acceleration until it's been pressed to the boards for a few long seconds.
I just installed in my friends E63 the standard Automatic version of the Sprint Booster (don't bother with the AMG version of SB in a car without the Kompressor) and the improvment was significant. My friend likes it, .[/SIZE][/B]
no way in hell a 5 year old SL55 is out performing a 63, unless its heavily modded.
63's are burying your times, better get to a track

kinda funny the car you put on blast has run faster than your best time.
63's are trapping 4-6 mph faster than your 55?? whats the story?

For those that wonder why the OP has not responded, let me take the liberty of imagining what Rafal is thinking:

sorry , when you are wrong your wrong. Ideals smashed, paradigms lost, its is likely a very difficult time for many 63 critics.

Making statements void of empiracal data has risks.
Rafal and you to a certain extent in support herein of his hypothesis in regard to the AMG 63 have been put on blast in the same manner you put our cars on blast in the creation of this thread.
It will only get worse as milestones once thought unachievable by the feable , slow, sheepish 63 are toppled.
We have disproved Rafal's statements, we mock him here as a result.
