I'm with DFW01E55. I'm lucky if my PS2 rubber lasts more than 6k miles. Like 5k out of my rear tires, 6-8k fronts. And I don't drive TOO hard on 'em. No burnouts, power slides, etc. Just the usual spirited E55ing we all enjoy.
I couldn't be happier with the feel, grip, comfort, and silence of the PS2, but the cost and short life may force me to consider options. Two new sets per year, mounting, balancing, etc, is painful, even at tirerack.com pricing.

Stock Conti's
I have 7 ticks on the stock contis and they show very little wear. The bars are not close on either the front or the rears. I guess I need start driving like a man.

If your tires need replacing at 6,500 then you are driving the heck out of your car. Absolutely nothing wrong with that!! The Conti's (under 'normal' driving, a blend of city and highway, should give you roughly 10-12,000 miles. I have 9,000 on the originals and will need a change soon. I am waiting till after the Atco 12/5 day...figure I am going to wear them down pretty good that day.

Only times "hallo" ... and a super forum... I really pursue many greetings from Germany nearly daily. but now to the topic.
My English is not so good, but I drive here into Germany also always Michelin tire. Naturally I drive other speeds, but than 15 tkm ( 9.320 miles ) he does not keep longer my W211!

I've got 18K miles on my POS conti's. I just ordered 20" wheels and vredestein tires. I hope they're as good as they say they are. I'll post some pics and do a little write up in a couple weeks.
