I finally did it...drove the mighty E63 tonight.
Really really liked it!!!
It was a blast winding the car up to 7K. It was great to put everything you guys said into perspective.
LOVED that top end man. He let me get on the highway and crank it a few times and that was just awesome. Just seemed to want to go and go on the higher rpms. Much much different that the 55.
Still have the exhaust note in my memory. Wonder if there is anyway to get the 55 to sound that way? Just dreamin.
Anyway, only downside is now I am more VIOLENT then EVER that AMG is not putting a turb on that sucker anytime soon. A turb on the E63 would pretty much make it the perfect 4 door.
I honestly think we need to put together some type of letter campaign to get them to "give us the turbs". They claim to listen to their clients. Be interesting to see if they put their money where their mouth is.
