So the stock e55 ran 12.20's and the fastest e63 ran 12.50's. I guess the weather was good.

Sacramento Results

Okay guys, what a great racing day today I think we had the highest number of AMGs turn out in any track event (15 AMGs, 2 regular Mercedes, one M5, one turbo M3, and a bunch fast SRT8s).

So here is the scoop.......

We started racing exactly on time @ 12:00 p.m., which was pretty awsome compared to Fontana . The temp was around 56 F and it was sunny out there. However, the track prep was the worst I've ever seen: nobody had any traction !!!!!!!!!! and that goes for all cars (8 seconds to 15 seconds). And the DA aparently wasn't as low as we hoped. Some said it was 1200, others said 1500, and others said 800 Juicee, you need confirm the DA for us as soon as you get home buddy

I started the day by hot lapping my E63 for 7 runs in a row, and I was surprised to see that my slowest run of the day was the 1st one (when car was colder) and my fastest run was when the car got hotter ........... This is exact opposite of how things went at California Speedway in Fontana. By the way, I raced my car 100% stock (I didn't remove spare, tools, or empty out the trunk).

1st run: 12.886 @ 111.8
2nd run: 12.75 @ 112.6
3rd run:
4th run: a bunch of 12.7 and 12.6s (too sleepy to check)
5th run:
6th run:
7th run: 12.66 @ 113.32.

Amir (M5_Forever) then took over and scored my car's best run of the day:

12.54 @ 114.2 mph

The main drama however took place center stage with Juicee63............ He first took us through some pretty rough times, then much worse times, then through glorious record-breaking times

Juicee started out with 13.3 @ 115.x mph (the highest trap speed in 63 yet). Then he ran a couple of 13.0s and 12.7x. Throughout the day, his car suffered from severe traction loss, but kept getting better and better. I think his super-light wheels were actually delivering more power to the ground than his stock ones, which of course made it more difficult for the car to gain traction . Anyways, amazingly enough, on his last 2 runs, just to shows us that he wasn't done yet, and that he wasn't going to go down easily or quietly, he busts out 12.64 seconds. And then 1 minute after, he gets his fastest record-breaking time (and legendary) time of 12.47 @ 115 mph

Juicee, you're the man...... You are now officially, the fastest CLS63 in the country

Jon2007E63P30 ran very close time to mine..... he ranged from 12.6x to 13.0 seconds..........

SLK55R (RennTech Supercharged SLK55) was not very successful today due to the crappy track prep. His car sounded amazing, but unfortunately could not hook right....... too much power combined with very slippery track = absolutely 0 traction.

The M5 started out with 12.8x @ 114.5 and after a few runs did manage a 12.46 @ 116.x Aparently, it had exhaust, charcoal filters removed, and lighter M6 rims

There were a couple of other stock E55s that ran 12.8 to 13.0 all day long. They were very consistent, but again suffered from traction problems.

Ururfantasy's stock E55 wins the record for the fastest stock E55 in west coast, as he ran 12.20s + 12.40s very consistently and even hot-lapping on some of the runs

All in all, it was a great learning experience, and fun day for all. I enjoyed meeting Adam and everybody that showed up. Johnny, you were greatly missed today

Sorry for the long post, but stay tuned for pictures and videos......

The stock E55 had -10c fan mod, ECU tuned for 91 instead of 93, lighter rims, resenator delete, no spare, tools, etc.... everybody emptyed out their trunks

Although he ran great, I think only one run was in the 12.20s and the rest ranged between 12.4 to 12.6. E63 ranged 12.5 to 12.6 all day So yes, the E55 won this round

What was the problem with the traction? Not enough VHT sprayed down? What were the 60ft for the day? What was Shawns 60ft times for the day?

I really wanted to go but I didnt get the BMW back from the dealer until late last night, then I got called into work on an emergency deal.I really wanted to make the trip.

Put up some pics!

The track was not prepped at all No VHT what so ever and because it was raining yesterday, the asphalt was very slippery I guess It was the most slippery track I've ever been to

My best 60' time on street tires were 2.07 while Shawn got a best 60' time of 1.9x. Track prep sucked big time

Which doesnt mean jack crap.Taking that stuff out of the trunk means nothing on these cars. The res delete does nothing either, nor does the -10c fan setting in those temps.

ECU tuned for 91? Arent they all?

What wheels did he have, they looked good from the one pic that Adam out up.

Shawns car is a cocnsistent 1.75 60ft car.

Why didnt they spray the track for you guys? Thats not only cheap of them but unsafe as well.

He said he had the Mercedes dealership tune it for the 91 octane as opposed to 93 I guess

The spare + tools were close to 100 lbs

Not really sure about the wheels, but they did look really good. His whole car setup looked awsome

Bahhh,that 91 deal is worthless.

100lbs dead weight aint much if any gains on these cars.

Yep,it did look good.Need more pics of it.

So when are you heading back up there?

100+ lbs could make 0.1 difference in E.T.

Tell me when and I'm there

Hey, you need to try to make this next time

What a great day despite the lack of record breaking runs but nothing beats seeing 10+ AMGs at the track and not to mention an M5

Here are some teasers... I'm working on the video as I type this.
