I asked a friend of mine in Sacramento and he said it sprinkled a bit at 7 am. And given that the track prep was already crappy, you guys wouldn't have been very happy with times you would've gotten

sorry, i just saw this thread otherwise i would have tried to make it. the weather here has been the best it can get so some local records are just waiting to be broken.
typically gates open at 9am, track goes hot at 10am, and they run until 3pm. the weekend day drags are usually quite open with the opportunity to get as many runs as you want. it's their saturday night drags that get the most people.
give me more warning next time and i'll be there!

I love this track and I hope we can have a big Merc event here in the next month or two.
It took 4.5 hours and was well worth it as the track was well prepped and the folks just downright helpful.
Im going to post in the best times thread.
That little crossfire was giving me a ruff time but the AMG proved too much , lol
I have great Vid thanks to Robert and his son.
Man once again, thanks for the ICE and coming out to see me, we will all get together soon . Now I know how you broke your diff..Mikey

Pretty much as me and Robert suspected!!
1400-1500 ft on all 4 of my runs. My first run was my worst at 12.586@112.503. Car was still boiling from the 4.5 hour drive I guess.. She held up well on the hot laps
