It should be a good one. You know the deal with my car...if I can get it to hook up half way decent I'll put down a 12.2-12.4. So make that your goal to run around those times. I am going to try something different and run with my stock wheels. I noticed in the video of Enzom & Housclass they both ran there times with the stock wheels & tires
so there must be something there![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)

They will prep the track and you will likely go sub 12 seconds. 18" set up is best for the 1/4 mile and obviously less weight (rotational ) the better.. What wheels did you run last time?
That track sucked bigtime, so you getting a 12.2 is somewhat of a miracle IMHO.. With a sticky track your car is going sub 12

I ran my 19" Maya's with the Nitto 555's. Adam & Tony said that the Nitto's are heavy. I wonder if the stock Conti's are lighter?

Mo,
The later the event is, like i said, not many are willing to go since they will work the next morning. If we get less attendees, the cost for each participant will increase.

do you have 18" stock rims? If so use those with stock fronts and mount BFG 275's in back. The MAYA rims are likely heavier than the stock rims. If you have 18" available thats is the way to go. You did better than everyone at the track so screwing around with your set up is really unecessary. I would run exactly the same set up and bring the 18" rears if you have em, the maya's on the front will not help or hurt you. If they prep the track and its a cool day , just do the same stuff and your car goes sub 12 seconds.
The difference in rubber weights is negligible most tires are about 26 lbs, r comp, drag radial are usually a few pounds lighter than strret tires

In order to prep the track, both sides you will need One Drum of VHT and one drum of Methanol. They usually retain about 5-10 gallons of each drum to spot spray throughout the day.

So all we need is one drum of VHT for both lanes for the whole day?
Why do I get the feeling that it won't be enough?
How much is one drum or barrel of Methanol? It was not listed among the priced items in the first post?

Hi Adam, I just joined MBWorld (I am a friend of Jon2007E63P30).
Am I welcome to come, as an owner of a DCX product...?
Having helped to organize events like this before, I'd recommend that you open it up to friends / relatives of your primary members who may bring other types of cars, so that you can get around 30 paying cars and thus get your per-car cost down to that $212 number... -Rob
