'12 E350 Coupe (3rd Benz)
Lightbulb Benz

I think the benz will get more recognition, it will be more distinquished, lots of 335i on the road... also, I love the room and having hot *** in the back seat, I am 23 and a ****ing party animal and I think the benz is the best! ALSO, most importantly, 335 is sporty all the time, benz you can change all the comfort settings and chill your *** out, at such a young age its not easy to chill out, you need electronic assistance (or I do) I drive my audi like a mad man, its so much easier to relax in the benz. Benz is just a better life. or you could save money for college - lol (someone said that) I am a HS dropout / orphan and I do GREAT (business man / well paying stable job / +++)

EDIT: I also feel like young people want to change there cars a lot and often, I feel it would be less tempting if you had the benz, 335 has a million competitors and other options, benz is power sedan lux... (not sure this makes as much sense as it does in my head)

Funny you should mention that: I remember reading an article a few years back stating that women tend to like/prefer BMWs in general over Mercedes. I'm not sure why, but maybe they haven't seen the SLR yet.

At 19, I can't imagine what your insurance is going to be on either one of these cars. Call your agent and get a quote first.

Daddy & mommy are paying for it, he couldn't care less how much his insurance cost! Not to mention the car

If those are your comparisons, get the Bimmer. E55 is a car you either MUST have or not.

Do you need a brother? I have an E55, and if your parents will adopt me, I'll let you drive it whenever you want!

And mbrover06: with all due respect, if you need to ask this question, get the 335i. After years have passed, you will no longer need to ask this question. Apples and oranges, my young brother, apples and oranges. or rather, apples and .....the apple grove......

If you're a drag racer, get an E55 and throw on a pulley kit. Don't forget to throw some D's on that b*tch and you'll have a lady killer as well.

The 335i is the new young guido car. I love it and the fact that you can mod it with chip and exhaust, plus its very good looking. But they are getting common and the sticker price is way lower than the original E55. I think the E55 commands more respect.

How about looking around for a used M5? Its a bit younger and much sportier, plus its faster than both the E55 and 335.

Whats your opinion? Oh, and I'm 19 and it would be my daily driver.
I have both, the E55 with the right options and extended warranty is the hands down choice! good luck with your decision!

No, I like the 335 and happen to think that it is excellent looking. I like the looks of it better than and e55.

It does perform well, and it has a 6MT. In fact I like driving the 6MT 335 better than a e46 M3.

I would agree only if your age is between 18-22. The 335 is too dang ricy! Every lil kid owns one

Also, free maintenance IF the dealer does not give you crap for the Vishnu, if they do then you're foocked.

1097 posts and thats all you have to say? It seems like your the 19 year old and I'm the adult. Yea, mommy and daddy are paying for the car, there also paying for my education at Seton Hall. I appreciate every single thing they do for me. I'm also training to get into the family business. I plan on giving them $5500 and pay 100-200 a month depending on what i get. Stop being such a douche bag.

does any one actuly have any facts other then the one dyno posted by the toner, because i recall reading lots of people did not all get these numbers?

are their any DAILY healthy runing examples ( like more then 1-2?) and a list of exactly what they have done?

would like more facts other then yes ''wow i saw this vids and it owned zomg!''
seriously the last vids they did they had the 355 smoke a 997TT

that's Terry's car.

while is nice to know the capabilities on 97 or 98 Oct gas.. most of us in Cali we are stuck with 91 oct.

As the graph said.. JBS2 + H pill + Racing switch and DP's and Intake..

1129 in mods is correct.. but you have to figure installation, and most 335 owners don't work on their own cars.. very few do. (interesting I can't find the post on the E90post.com website). I

Most Vishnu V2.0xx cars are putting down 340 to 360 RWHP on 91 oct and if you add higher octane and adjust the torque settings.. you can get to 380 to 390 very safely. This is with a catback exhaust and no 2nd cats (just like Shiv's dyno pulls)
or like this one

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=104489

very few N54 engines will be running full boost at around 14 to 15 psi.

The only thing you would have to pay labor for is adding the downpipes, the rest of the stuff can be done in a half hour.

When I get my 335,I will be in the 500rwt and around 430whp with the same mods as above + 110 oct that I have here.I will push the turbos to 19psi and be the first to really push the car.All this time people have been slowly upping the boost on the cars and I think that run was like 16 psi. They dont know the limits of the turbos yet and dont want to blow them up like the s4 guys did.

I will run a 19-20 psi switch/110oct for when I really want to play and have a normal 93oct 370whp map for daily driving.

Here is a bone stock with a very safe dinan tune, all it has is the sofware,no intakes, cams, downpipes, exh, bigger intercooler ect. This car is running 13 psi.If you ad an exh and downpipes and delete the cats you will be in the 380rwt and 360whp range and be very safe at 13 psi.
