Best Detail in Bay Area
Was wondering if I could get some input on the best detailers in the Bay Area.
Also are there any that do housecalls?

+1.
I use AJs on Coleman and Taylor in San Jose. They are pretty good and I see a ton of AMGs plus lambos, ferraris, porches, etc., but I would like to have a relationship with a "detailing guy" that I can trust completley.

I drive to AJ's from SSF whenever I need a car wash. I had them do a polish and wax when I first got my car three months ago. It was an exceptional job.
In addition to the Mini-Detail & Polymer Sealer Wax (two coats), the vehicle is first polished to remove superficial scratches, stains and oxidation. This two step cleaning process prior to waxing restores luster to the paint. (This cleaning process does not include overspray or industrial fallout removal)

Aj's Express Wax for $50 is about as good as it gets. I'm gonna get the Intererior Detail done for $160 which includes the regular wash but see if they can do an express wax also.
NOTE: Do not get the Polymers Seal and wax (the one where they polish out then wax) if you have a Clear Bra. Their machine will tear it up.

i got a couple friends who are mobile detailers, both have done work on my car and i highly recommend them.
price is 200-250. at least it was for my M3, but id imagine itd be the same or very close for the AMG. PM me if interested and ill pass your contact info to them.

AJ'S kicks ***. For a full detail inside and out should be about 250-275 but that is the works. We take our cars to them every other week and the service is unbelievable. Pablo is the man. Full hand wash/dry!

The best in the Bay if price isn't your main concern is probably Bob Willis with Autoconcierge. 925-600-0229. Check out the Ferrari boards and you'll see who the these guys use most often. Bob makes house calls, but I'm not sure how far he travels.

Is absolutely amazing. If you want to get your car detailed and if you are located in the Bay Area ... Robert is the man to go to.
He tooks some pics so hopefully he can post them on this thread.

I tried AJs on the recommendation of a friend with a M3 and this board.
The work was OK. I got the express wash and wax.
The bugs on the front bumper were not completely removed in two places, and I think a tiny scratch on the gage cover plastic was caused during the cleaning.
I am going to try the Zaino route.
