2003 E55 AMG
Yeah, I got the magazine in the mail the other day. I wasn't so thrilled since they only had 5 cars, if I remember right (and the Vette DNF'ed). I would love to see another 0-whatever with many of the cars out today.

Not sure if you would want to drive on M/T in rain or at high speeds on regulaer roads...Beleive Me I've tried on LPE Z06...the car is not controlable on regular roads (not taking about if it rains) uless you heat them up...

I have a Ford GT w/800hp and it goes great with the E55. Wonderful spirited drives in the E, speed runs and madness in the GT. They compliment each other very well. Heffner has solid stuff and has built quite a reputation for himself.

I ran with one of those Heffner G's at streets of willow. It was hot, 110 degrees and after 10 hard laps it had to retire due to overheating. I rode in it, very fast but could not put the power down, didn't handle for crap and the brakes were even worse. Junk if you ask me...

Yes, that is what I mean, heat them up and you are good, well sort off...lol! I would not consider driving any of these cars in the rain.

Who's was it? What color? There are only 5 or so completed and all of the owners are saying they are running great with NO overheating issues whatsoever. They also have no issues with puting power down. Sounds like BS to me.

The owner wasn't even there...The owner of SpeedGallery, a buddy of mine, had the car out there and they were shaking it down. Not sure who you've talked to or what FIRSTHAND experience you've had with these cars, but I'm just telling you MY EXPERIENCE. Take it FWIW...here's a pic and video...they were filming it for some magazine in Europe...

I know who's car it is and if you read the article from that day in European Car it even mentions that it was 117 on the tarmac and they were impressed by how hard the car was run and how the temps were fine all day. I know 2 of the other Heffner GTT owners and no one is having issues with the car running hot and they both have done many back to back hard runs with no cool down in between with no issues. I have never owned a Heffner tuned car but I do know that these guys wouldn't be lined up to have their cars tuned if they were coming out with overheating issues.

Yes..no rain but you never know when the rain catches you...and what I'am saying MT ET Street do not work well for regular driving conditions...and 1000HP and regulars tyres will be difficult to hook up...We need at least semi-slicks in 19th or 20...like Toyo 888 they are OK in rain if there is no water splashes...
