Best Color E63 AMG?

Which is the hotest color? Which makes the car look its best? I'm thinking of silver w/black interior w/a pano roof, or black w/black interior w/a pano roof. On the silver, there's a contrast with the roof and on the black it blends. Again, which combination would show off the car best? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks, Michael

There are too many silver AMGs and while they are pretty, I really think the white shows of the lines of the car and the black Pano roof looks pretty good on a white car. I would go with a black interior and anthracite wood.

My two choices for the E55 were white and Tectite, the 2-tone interior of the Tectite car swayed the decision.

Two of the best looking cars that I have owned have been a white C36 (back in the day) and a white GT3.

However, color is a matter of personal taste so you have to buy what you like!

I enjoy having the rarest color. My maroon (not sure of the official MB color name) is the only one of its type I've ever seen, and IMHO it is nice. I will upload photos when I get my black front grill installed; the dark maroon against the black adds just a touch of "gangsta," or "stealth" or something that is rare in this car class.

Ive owned a Black & White 55.... I have to say, nothing is mearly as "eye catching" as the white. It is in awesome color.. But everyone will have their own opinion with color.. Personally, I dont like the pano roof, on a white car.. but thats me.

They actually changed that name to "Barlo Red" sometime between the MY2005 to 2006 transission.

I met the owner of one at Eurofest (held at Spartanburg, SC) this past fall. I think he was from SC as well. It's a great color that was very popular once (think BMW 850s back in the early 90s), then fell out of favor, and now seem to be making somewhat of a comeback since after a while, white, black, and silver tend to bore. That said, I'm still partial to black cars, so that's what I ended up getting when I bought mine.

A while back there was a barlo red CLS55 with the 030 package listed on Autotrader. Absolutely stunning. I so wanted to pull the trigger, but hadn't accumulated sufficient new brownie points with the wifey to make it happen (since I used up prior brownie points getting her to agree to let me do the E55). So I'll be happily bored in my black car for the forseeable future.
