So all this talk about 63's and turbos...
I have been starting to wonder thought, who knows something I don't. It sure seems like a lot of people make note of this possible BEAST. does anyone have any proof? Where did this rumor originate?
I could be wrong of course.
The 63 has been highly "detuned", because they do not have all of the supporting drivetrain components completely tweaked (mainly the tranny). There is always a fear of buying a new thing, but there is a load of power in a 63, IF you are willing to dig for it.

So even though the Twin Turbo project is not confirmed, some kind of a very powerful beast is confirmed, and I assure you, will follow shortly. Of course, I would think the Twin Turbo route is a much easier and cost effective route for them to take
but we'll have to wait and see.AMG guys, if you're reading this....... we're dropping a hint: we need at least a 700 hp 6.2L Twin Turbo beast to continue the journey

THEN we got video of the SLC on the The Ring and I enhanced the audio and it sounded like a 12. So we are kinda back to square one.
If they are working on a turb 8, it's gotta be one of the best kept secrets in Benz history.

I posted an article from Kleemann(somebody re=posted in a few days ago)stating that the 7G tranny can handle ALOT more hp/torque then 475.
Here,from Kleemanns site:
Will the 7G tronic be able to handle the power of a KLEEMANN tuning solution?
The 7 speed 7G tronic transmission (722.9) is slowly being phased in to replace the 5 speed (722.6) transmission Mercedes Benz has used for the last 5 years. All new N/A V6 and V8 vehicles are now being built with the W7A 700 variant of the 7G tronic. The WA700 variant is endurance load rated by Mercedes Benz at 760 Nm (560 lbs/ft) of torque. This means the transmission will handle this amount of power continuously with out failure. There will never be a time where one can develop this kind of power continuously on the road. Momentary load ratings are easily 35 % higher than continuous ratings. The 7G tronic transmission will easily handle the performance from a KLEEMANN conversion. The 7G tronic has been available for nearly one year and KLEEMANN has modified many of these vehicles. None of these modified vehicles has had any trouble to date, many of them having logged in excess of 64,000 km (40.000
