By far my #1 issue is the adaptive tranny. Hate it with a passion. There is nothing like getting the settings flushed out via STAR and starting new. A rebirth of sorts. I've done the sneaky reset, but cannot compare to a STAR flush job.

Dealer won't remove my beeping. The keyless GO beeping is driving me crazy!!! How can I get this done? Seatbelt chime reminder is very annoying as well. If anyone knows how to DIY remove these stupid beeping, please let me know...

Those are the only things I hate about this car, and let me tell you, I REALLY HATE THEM...

Find someone with STAR Diag equipment and they can do that for you.

Oh poor grantwoodtx... I assume the men in black showed up and offed you right after you posted this. After 2 years of people popping on every now and then and saying "it can be done with STAR" and nothing more, you finally actually exposed the actual detail/instruction! I have NOT had the luxury of trying this yet, but I feel much better about pushing the dealer when I'm telling them to 'turn off keyless go feature' instead of 'stop the beeping'. I'm looking forward to trying this out now!

--still rocking my 2004 E55 4+ years after this post, and I still can't bring myself to replace it despite all the initial complaints still existing. It's still better than any alternative, and 90% as good as a new one that I would have to drop what.. $75k plus mine to get? Can't justify it...
