Thinking of getting into a 5 seat car, and would like a new E55 if at all possible. I know it's waaay late in the game, but sometimes cars fall through the cracks.
Any leads would be greatly apprciated.

I don't think you will be hard pressed to find a 2006 (if you meant to write 2006 vs. 2007). You could probably find a good deal on a low mileage 2006 with CPO.Originally Posted by Lawrenzo

Where have you been looking? Usually people hit ebay motors, then mbusa for CPO'd used nationwide inventory,
Out Of Control!!
Nah, i remember when the last new one was sold. I think there are still a few demo cars that are still being driven. Many would have bought them when the E63 was launched.

+1, find a nice CPOed car with low miles...all the new ones are gone. And if you find one that isn't, there will be a reason!

Fletcher Jones had a brand new 2006 Barlo Red E55 that sat on the lot for a while. Last time I was there (3 months ago or so), the car was still there and was selling for $75k
and I'm sure with some "negotiations", you can bring that down a little bit more

Look for a low mileage 2006, CPO. The miles won't really matter and the price will be more reasonable. Also, you will be able to have more choices on color and options. Price should be around $60-$65. You benefit from the depreciation that hits the original owner and hopefully they have worked out any kinks. I wouldn't want a car that has been sitting around the stealership because they put really hard mileage on the new cars. Just $.02.
The Borelo red car at Fletcher Jones would have to be my last color choice(sorry current owners). I will look into the CPO warranty, and check out what is available that way. Thanks.
