*** VRP 5.7L Engine Build ***
I really feel bad for the OP here. That must be a real blow mentally. One year no car and it has lost likely 25k in value in that time and he never got to drive it too!
Looks like we have come up against the barrier on these babies.
Vadim himself said he thinks we have maxed out the current supercharger output with the large pullies we are running.
Think the lower 700 range is gonna be bout it, perhaps right up to 750 if someone wanted to do all out mods AND spring massive cash for SLR coolers.
Hats off to Havoc for giving it the ole college try!!
Just like my 2.82 gear idea, blows when it doesn't work out.
Unfortunately, the 5.7L has a knocking sound in addition to the particles in the oil. Since the engine builder is unable to locate the source of the problem at this time, I asked Victor to buy the project back from me.
No worries though, as I’m still in search to build the ultimate 55 beast. So until then, its back to the drawing board for the Havoc! Stay Tuned!
Thanks to everyone for your support.
Sorry to hear about your misfortune, good luck with your next "ultimate 55 beast."

I finally pulled the trigger and Vadim is now upgrading my engine, tranny and suspension complete with twin-turbos on top of my Kleemann twin-screw supercharger...I kept trying to push him to increase displacement to 6.1 like Brabus but finally we both agreed that leaving it at 5.5 and increasing boost would yield just as much power with much less hassle and risk.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Victor and I are in the process of a resolution. I trust him so therefore I’m not too concerned. I’ll advise you guys of the turn out either way.

I’m sure Victor will get the 5.7L running properly, but at this time I rather take a new direction. I'm still going to have Vadim do the install and tuning of my new build. I’m in talks with different people in regards to my options. I’ll post a new thread once my project commences. Thanks!

The 5.7L is completely apart including the heads. They have checked every bolt and every part. There is no heat marks, no broken material , no damage anywhere that is visible.
The engine builder is now going the extra length and measuring all the components and checking tolerances.

At this point in time the engine will be shipped to Vadim soon where he will do the install and addition of mods.

Hang in there with me guys, the 5.7L is about to come to life again!

Glad to hear that it's going to work out for you, Havoc!
