I don't see my 11.11@126 pass on this one from 2 months ago. Is this the most updated?

 

that list seems to be WAAAY old...my 11 sec pass isnt there either. Lots of runs need to be updated on that. Not sure if they have been doing ANY updates to that list...

Yep, Tom needs to update it with the most recent times. He has most (maybe all?) of the MIR runs in but there have been fast runs since then.

Sal, were you running on the BFG drag radials or MT ?

Congrats again on the times, and especially the 126 mph trap.... that trap speed has got to be the highest 55 trap yet, isn't it?

Thanks Mo. Yeah I am still running on BFG's, but I think its time for change on my wheel/tire setup. The rims I run on are really heavy, and BFG just dont hook for me anymore. I couldnt hook worth a damn, and on my second run I started to go sidways half way down that track. After that, my friend ran the car the rest of the day and is the who ran the new record #'s for my car.

We keep changing PSI on the tire Traction control on & off, but no matter what we did the car just keep on wanting to go sideways its not really until the back half where we really could get on the pedal.

I guess I will soon start searching for a light weight wheel combo with some M/T's.

 

I tried to capture everyone's times since I last updated it a few months ago. I have to say it seems like times have been dropping like flies in the last 3 months. Great job to everyone who made the list ...or moved up (except those who bumped me down a couple of notches ).

I took some people at their word. I tried to highlight the times/traps that I need to verify. Does anyone know what jrcart's trap was on his fastest ET?

I haven't run my car at the track since our Columbus day MIR rental and I dropped 8 places with a whole bunch of cars nipping at my car's 11.403. I need to get my car ready for the March MIR rental to open the season swinging!!!

Jim faxed me copies of his slips, please PM me a fax number and I would be happy to fax ALL of his slips for you to post. I believe he posted new records in just about every category, 60', 1/8 e/t & trap and 1/4 e/t & trap. I know one of his traps was 129.31 and one of his 1/8 miles was an astonishing 7.076@ over 100mph.

His slips read like a book, you can see the ones where he was peddling down track, he posted 7.0 & 7.1 1/8 miles @ 100mph and then only trapped at 125-126 at the back end, any one who knows anything about drag racing and reading the numbers knows a 100mph 1/8th should be at least a 130 at the back.

 

Not always...there are 9 MB runs on Dragtimes (and Marko's record run) with 100+ 1/8 miles and only 4 cracked 130mph in the 1/4 mile (all those 130mph traps with the exception of Marko used healthy shots of NOS which is more potent with FI cars...which all were).

There are alot of factors...including gearing. I think a stock CLK63 BS redlines in 4th gear at 136mph. Does Jim have the stock gears? Remember, the actual speed at the end of the 1/4 mile is higher than the posted trap. JayCL600 borrowed my pbox at MIR and the pbox's GPS trap was 1.6+mph higher than the posted trap on all his runs. So if Jim changed the rear gears or shifted short of the redline he may have slowed his trap down just enough.
