SO...I just almost got smoked by a Civic.
Yes, you heard it...a Honda Civic...........on the HIGHWAY. 2 Door hatch, with 3 people in it. I let off a little bit to let him catch up around 120ish, but I think if I would have let get a jump, it would have taken me a few seconds to pass him.
I use to be into Hondas and had a WRX...they were quick....not fast. This thing, was FAST. I didn't notice a blow off valve or a front mount- so this thing MAY have been all motor. We went for a while, so I doubt he was spraying the whole time.
Anyway- blue 92-95 Civic hatch...look out for em.

Your worst nightmare...
I know a few that have heavy motor work and they are quick with a few grand. no surprise there. They weight less than a feather and most of them put out around 300+ HP

dont feel bad.. my buddy's honda civic hatch, from a dig, roll, whatever, he spanks the hell out of my 55 lol.. and his thing is like, whoa! wicked fast, k20head with k24 block all motor, took me for a ride and the torque just gave me a heart attack

This was my daily drive beast. total sleeper except for the front mount
then I moved to this car.
now i'm rollen this car.
I still miss the evo. it was wicked fast. it just attracted tooo much attention from po-po. they love to profile anything with a giant wing on it.

i daily drive my E.. would be nice to have something better on the side though.. but evo, i had a 2003 evo8 yellow.. absolutely hated it.. and went to my integra, then now my 55

As a goof the NYC crew should all pool together and build the most outlandish rice rocket we can think of. Take an old CRX, zip tie a primer'd Erebuni kit on to it, strip out the interior and drop a crazy VTEC motor into it. It would probably cost us $300 apiece, and we can rotate who gets to drive the damn thing.

Best bang for the buck on the planet is a used EVO or WRX. Write a few checks ($10-15K) and you have a high 10 second car that will wax pretty much anything on the road (especially from the stoplights) and put down 500+ HP.

back then i hated the awd.. but looking at that car day.. since the body was stock, ect.. got really tired of the styling and the interior looked soo cheap, unlike my e55, i can stand there and stare at it all day
