Definately...our S65 guy was very upset even after chip tuning cause M5/M6 beat him, he paid over 300k for it...and then he went crazy when his rear axle said bye bye and car was at the dealer wating for replacement for almost 2 months...

The results of the rematch are in:
Evotech CL65 vs Evosport M6 runs-2nd Round!!
We had total of 5 runs last night. And the results proved that the evotech was right about the CL was fuel starving in the 1st round match. When I improve my launching technique and change out the worn tires to hoosier R6, I'm sure the result will be very different. Enjoy the video~
1st run: 40-160mph roll, both cars in 2nd gear. M6 jumped first and the CL was spinning bad. In fact this was the worst run of the night for the CL.

2nd run: 20-165mph roll, both cars in 1st gear. Both cars took off at the same time but again the CL was fighting for traction.

3rd run: 50-150mph roll, both cars in 2nd gear. Both cars took off at the same same time and CL hooked up better than the 1st run (still had wheel spin).

4th run: 15-130mph roll, both cars in 1st gear. IMO, this was the best run of the night, Although M6 jumped slightly first the CL hooked up well.

After the run my friend finally showed the respect to CL
On the way home, the freeway was unusually empty so we had one last blast from around 70mph. I couldn't capture this run on the video but the CL was pulling about 1 car length in every 10mph. By the time we were at 150mph, I had about 8-10 car lengths.
I will report again when the car gets dynoed.

I know 5 cars and all of them had problems at some point...
1 just blew their trans...
One blew 8th cylinder 2 times, then broken SC then, then trans...
Other one had problems with it not runing proberly, the got re-rune and runned OK but then had SC or pulley problem...lost boost...
IMHO the prob with those cars that there where probably bought in not very fresh condiftion (40-50k miles) and then got all those mods...Did thier TCUs but did not re-inforced transmission and so on...
SLR was runing good then lost boost as well...had to take to Germany to fix it...

Wow....I haven't been on here in a few days and so much is going on.....
The M6 rocks. I absolutely love it. They scream so loud and they are friggin faaaaaaaast.
I ordered Evosport pulleys and Headers for the M6 for a guy, and now hes also getting the stage 2 evosport ECU, as well as BMC filters and RPI scoops. Those evosport longtube headers are so beautiful. Should be an amazing project.

She's getting long in the tooth @50k miles. Cutting into her now wouldn't be worth it, but maybe it would. It's still up in the air for me. I really have my eyes set on a white on red M6, it would be an awesome companion car for what Sunny has in store.

IMO, if you want to run 10's without nitrous in an AMG, your only realistic option is tuned SL65. I predict the prices of SL65's to be far below 100k once the new body comes out and this will be a very realistic option. You'd be well into 10's with VRP's 1,000hp kit...
