Famoso Track Results 02/17/2008 *** New 63 Record ***
Okay guys, looks like the west coast has re-captured the title for the FASTEST 63 in the country thanks to the one, the only, the un-stoppable...... J u i c e e 6 3
Juicee was at Famoso's open test n tune day today and not only broke his record, but broke everybody else's 63 record as well
Well done Juicee and congratulations....... you most definately deserve it.....
He is driving home right now, so I'll let him post the actual results....... but lets just say he has beaten even MACH5's time (CLK63 Black Series) that was ran in the east coast at a DA of -1236 ft

Track Prep: excellent
Approximate DA: 960 to 1000 ft
Temperature: 66 to 68 F
Humidity: 60%
Despite DA being a little higher than we hoped, his car still did very well

results, vids to follow
Wow, what a day....I drove 2hours to Famoso raceway for a test and tune. Very crowded and only 3 runs in 8.5 hours..For the guys that wanted to come be glad you did not EXCEPT! The track was great , great prep and a nice close to sea level DA(200-1000ft) during the entire day. Track elevation is 600-700ft.
3/4 tank of fuel(man was that dumb) mixed 91 with 100
my mods are listed in my sig
First two runs produced a personal best 12.29 and a 12.299 @114.5 and 114.8
I was happy figured I had reached a threshold, car was just not going faster...I wondered maybe I need to go home, but I lined up for one last pass. This was at 3pm..........A car oils down the track and it takes another 40 minutes to clean, then they decide to let the big boys go....ugh another 1 hour passes. at 5:29pm I finally get to the tree.
I was laughing at the end of the run, I knew it was my best , I figured 12.24 @115.........
I look WTF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Took 9 months but WOW!!
12.110@115.68 It feels incredible to be so close to 11's. Thanks to all of you that have helped me accomplish this,

I measure on the track, it was worth 1-1.5 mph and .1 off my times..I noticed better gains up top , car still needs tweaking, its a very non-agressive tune A/F ratio is nearly stock. There is a thread on this in the CLS section comparing gains , I think its titled dyno results VRP?

Time for the Best coast to step up again against the West coast again this means!!!
Very nice Juicee,my cousin has an 07 E63 so he'll be very interested in knowing this. Was this done on street tires or drag radials?
Again congrats and hopefully you'll be seeing 11's. I believe in less than 9 months as well.

So are you still running with Olivers/Adam/Evotech ECU or have you been reflashed? Congratulations man........I would love to see the expression on your face when you crack the 11.XX barrier.

Same tune I have had since Dec. It was a non agressive tune and I am not worried at all about it. I definately think there is some room for improvement.
The TB for instance at WOT is only open 78%, thats definately holdingthe 63 back.
I run an r comp tire called a pilot sport cup, it is not a drag radial and likely is not the best choice..It is to hard and has a very tiny sidewall. The benefit is when it is hot its super sticky and also very good on the streets. I use this so I no longer change my tires out. I drive to the track on the cups run em and drive home. I will be switching soon to the Toyo R888.
thanks for the compliments.

The tires are Michelin Pilot sport cups, sticky but not a real drag radial, it is very hard rubber and difficult to get them heated and stay heated.
Funny the top times are so close, I am still suprised I beat it, when I called Mo from the road I was saying at least I was second...LOL "whats the third digit on your slip" its a zero Mo....Then Holy Shi* , you did it man !!!!
12.110 to 12.115 oh just 5/1000th of a second.
