though our stocker 55 wheels are:

18x8, ET30 front & 18x9 ET39, rear

would the e63 amg wheels fit our e55 perfectly given they are:

18x8.5 ET38 front, 18x9 ET39 rear

...seems rear perfect match, but front metrics a bit different? any feedback from anyone? also, would brand new lugs be required for the e63 set. k1 motorsport seems to have a great deal on the e63 wheels ~$2850 (all in) versus delaer at ~$4k+. thanks all...

Yes, they would fit. I posted a link a to MB approved sizing. But I've got to go and get a beer so I leave it up to you to find it.

possible depending on decision at some point. not sure of 210 v 211 chasis wheel fitment.

Nope the wheels will not fit the W210. Offsets are way off.

You can mix and match the W211 rims, but can't put them on a W210. Saying $2800 is cheap compared to dealer's $4K is off. The wheels are $500 each brand new, so I sure as heck wouldn't pay more than $2K for just the rims. Many are selling wheels and rims for about $2500.

is there a place selling wheel set for ~$2k new? would be great to know as k1 has been best new price have found versus dealer/s. agree-there 's been some great pre-owned e63 wheel/tire pkgs in $2-2.5k range as of late.

Yes, there are a few wheel shops in LA that sell any of the AMG/MB rims for about $500. They advertise on Ebay (how I found them). There are also some that sell take offs from the ones that clients upgrade.

Call Harbor Motorsports in Santa Ana. They are a sponsor here and they will be able to get you the right deal. They are great guys and low stress.
