ROW suspension settings???

I read through the archives and found some mention of having the car set a ROW suspension heights throught the STAR tool at the dealer. Is anyone familar with the process? I have a connection at the dealer and need to know what to tell him. Is it the same adjustment proceedure as North American cars just using the ROW height specs? How much does height change and is the ride firmer?

If I remember correctly is this the same as STAR diagnostics lowering. If it is just tell the dealer that you want the car lower by the STAR diagnostics. It should lower the car anywhere from a 1/4 - 1/2 inch. The ride comfort doesn't really change.

Anyone have any connects in the L.A. area? Also, how does this method affect the warranty?

Is STAR lowering an easy procedure or time consuming/car-dependent for technician?

I would not expect the comfort to change but would expect the body roll to get better. I have played with coilovers on several cars and was amazed to find that height changes of 1/4" really affected body roll.

Even with my car almost slammed I found that the comfort really didn't change, in my opinion. Of course thats just me. But these cars dont have that much body roll to begin with if any

But what is nice is if you install a ELM on your car, and have it installed in the right spot, all the adjustment you want can be controlled at your finger tips. I had mine installed just that way. I could have it ride at factory height for those areas that needed higher levels, then had it slammed for my normal driving.

Your going to love it no matter which way you go. It all depends on your preference

When you have the car lowered, does the "snow" feature (raising the car) end up 1/4" lower or does the raised height stay the same?

TIA!
