^ Wussup? How have you and the car been?

I'm picking up a Defi boost gauge soon. Already have the Innovate wideband with Defi style gauge.

E55 does not come stock with a boost gauge

can you monitor the boost with a scan tool that plugs in the odb port?

no, not yet. I thought you guy have a factory one built in.
I notice on most factory induction car it come with a factory boost gauge. I wonder why AMG don't put on in.

How many psi does your factory kompressor make? Kleemann only make 7psi per Kleemann USA. I Just wanted to confirm that it making 7psi like they said.

2004 E55
i wonder the same thing..
Cheaper cars, stis, 03-04 cobras come with a factory stock gauge.
I owned a 04 cobra before the e55 and my first mod on that car was changing it's pulley.
didn't take longer than 20 minutes. drove the car to a tuner. They tuned it(yes on a dyno, i would never take anything less).
The stock gauge which would only go to 8-9psi started going all the way to 14..
Not a bad mod at all. with less than 600 dollars worth of mods i bumped the hp from 370rwhp to 475rwhp and similar torque.[Start-Rant] It seems that you can't even buy a performance air filter for the E55 for that price. Overall i spent less than 2000 worth of mods and had significantly over 500rwhp. for that price i can barely buy a tb for the benz. can't complain that's what the market allows. [/end-rant]

I would rather have a factory boost gauge instead of that big *** clock. knowing whether the comp is holding boost would be nothing but a matter of simply looking at the gauge.

What's up mang. I'm doing well. The car status has been slow to say the least. It's in the shop now to address that busted turbo..and some other misc stuff. I've got a golf trip scheduled for late April in Williamsburg VA. My plans are to bring a trailer so I can swing by your area and grab the car. I'll hit you up when I’m in town. Maybe there will be some bible studies going on that you know of we can catch up with.

Do you have any reason to suspect your not making full boost, or just being curious george?

Yes, you can pick up boost on the obdII.

I think these cars run around 11 stock and the pulleys add 2 - 3. They make it. that isn't the issue, so we really don't need the gauge to tell us. The ECU doesn't like more than 12 anyways, so mods are needed to the software to get good gains there.

Just another example of MB keeping the owner in the dark. If you can't monitor boost you can't complain about poor performance and therefore no resultant claim. It's all about the bottom line.

Definitely let me know when you're in town

Peter_02AMG- Have you taken your car to the dragstrip. What did you manage? In terms of the Defi boost gauge, just do a google search for them. They are fairly well known

Haven't taken to the track yet. I probably would know what to do at the track

My 02 make make 309rwhp & 310ftlbTq on a dynojet 248C before Kleemann stg 2 installed. What do you think the 1/4 mile time is with stg 2?

i check out the Difi gauges, to Complicated. need something simple without the to much wiring.
They are pretty though

Whats a stage 2? There are alot of factors that determine 1/4 mile times, not sure what your car would do
