Royal Purple Oil
Where can I buy, and whats the cost? Also, taking car somewhere for the change - should I go to an independent shop? Thanks.

your loc?....i bought mine at a local tuner/store( Honda AEM certified tuner )
as far as who can do the oil change for you i suggest having an independent shop do it and watch them while they do it.

You will NOT see ANY difference swicthing from one synthetic to another. NOT even on a dyno my friend. Royal purple is alittle better, but keep in mind it is just that ALITTLE better. Real world engine NO DIFFERENCE!
example, just for compariosn not EXACT numbers so please don't attack.
Mobil 1 is good to about 530 degrees farenheit.
Royal Purple goes ALL the way about to approxiametly 535 degrees farenheit.
See what I mean here.
Anyway, go to the tracks and you will see EVERYONE runs mobil 1, its cheaper, readily avaible, mixes with ANYTHING, etc, etc.
SAVE your money my friend. I could write pages here about the SMALL differences, but it is easy to say, stay with Mobil 1 for the money.
See yeah

For the most part, synthetic is synthetic. Why pay 2x the price for a 1% improvement?
They're all made by either Exxon or DuPont anyway, the company selling whatever brand just orders a specific blend from the factory. Most of them come from the same place.

The one thing I notice that's suspect is that they didn't tell you in the video what viscosity of the competing brand synthetic oil they used for the test. That could be responsible for the results.
However, if they used the same viscosities of each brand, then WOW that's amazing.
