Need help choosing wheels for Black Opal wagon

So I have a very mathematical mind, but have absolutely no artistic talent or eye. Therefore, I'm having a hard time visualizing what's going to look good in terms of wheels on my 06 Black Opal Wagon. I would love some input from those with better taste and artistic vision.

My main requirements are light weight and strong ... and I'm thinking most likely 19".

So far my favorites are HRE Comps, either C20 or C21. I think these look great: http://hrewheels.com/wheels.php?q=/COMP/COMP21/ and I'm thinking the satin charcoal finish would look good with Black Opal, maybe?

I also like the 360Forged competition spec multi. The problem is there are so many options in terms of finishes, lips, etc ... I have no clue what will look good ...

Anyone have any thoughts on what wheel and what type of finish would good on a Black Opal Wagon??? It's an odd color since it's not really black, has a lot of blue, but changes depending on lighting ...

Thanks for any help.

I think my Black Opal CL65 looks great with the stock wheels. Not sure how to post pics on here...come to think of it...I would probably have to take some first..dooohhh (Homer Simpson moment). I do have other pics of wheel shots of black opal CL65's with the 65 wheels if you would like to see the contrast.

CL65 wheels looks great on wagons or check these out. they are 18" but you could stick to the newer multispoke available on the SL55 aswell.

I am having the same dilemma. I am looking for new wheels for my CLK55 and cant decide what finish I want. I will post some pics of my past wheels when I get home to give you an idea of different finishes on black opal. I've had gloss black, silver, and gold. Thinking flat black, black opal, or back to gold for the next wheels

I think the spec 5 wheel from 360 forged is a great wheel. I love a nice dish on a wheel. It makes it looks very aggressive and stylish at the same time. This is one of my favorite wheels.

As a second choice, I think the s/sl/cl65 wheels look great too. If you have an issue paying the +/- $3000, this is the alternative: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...wheelModel=ST4

Looks identical and is a fraction of the price.

Damn, are those all on your car? If so, you're a wheel ***** Very nice though. The gold really stands out, but is not my style on the wagon I don't think. If you have any more pics with the gloss black I'd be interested as that's one of the things I'm trying to figure out ... if gloss or matte black will look good with the black opal car. Thanks!

Yeah those look awesome ... I love it. Would love to know the weight though ... the wagon really needs to lose as much weight as possible. I'd really like to lose some unsprung weight if at all possible with the hope that it might make the sleeper beast feel a little more nimble. But those are seriously hot.

Haha! I noticed those added to tire rack recently as well. Pretty good looking replicas, but I have no information on the quality of the 'Sport Edition' brand ... has anyone heard of them before? They certainly are cheap! $162 front $172 rear Of course they are heavy though ... 28lb front and 31.3lb rear. The 360forged and HRE comp are closer to 20lbs I think. I wonder how much I'll be able to notice the difference in performance.

Yup, lol. I am definitely a wheel ***** and have had many wheels in the past. I will get you more pics of the gloss black finish when I get home.
