The only time you should tie or limit front end travel is when the car shifts way to much weight to the rear tires, ie the car does a complete wheel stand out of the gate or hits the wheelie bars to hard and unloads the rear suspension causing massive wheel spin.

The wasted movement due to the flexibility of airmatic that actually hinders energy travel from front to back . The force is transferred into several pieces that absorb the energy via movement up and down vs actual lateral transfer of mass. The less movement in the parts the better the transfer. Lifting the car off the ground demonstrates a more efficient transfer.

Its like casting your line out and not taking enough slack out of the line, a fish bites with force and your delay through the slack is enough to fail to set the hook.

On a Airmatic the shocks move too much dissapating force and wasting hp.

Not without inserting some adhesion coefficient, I would think.

The 60' times were converted to provide a number for accelerative gravity (g) force.

lol, i thought you were talking about a REAL transbrake.

i've also thought about using the "e" brake but since we don't have a convenient brake handle i thought it would be too difficult having to lean forward trying to grab that little brake handle and accelerate at the same time.

Who wants to figure out a line-lock for the SBC braking system?

Hmmm interesting. I used to always run full stiff dampening in the front and full soft in the rear. Maybe I'll try full soft all the way around next time and see what happens. Thanks Albert!

One other thing to take into account is the increase in mass of the car as you reach relatavistic speeds at the end of the 1/4 mile.

This is why our rear view mirrors say "Objects may be red shifted"

.....and the car would be completely silent...........from 742mph to light speed.
