Correct tire pressure for 19" wheels?
I have a 2005 E55. I purchaed this car pre-owned from a private owner with 5,700 miles.
It has 19" two-piece AMG wheels in a twin-spoke design similar to the stock wheels. The tires are Goodyear Eagle F-1's. Sizes are 245/35 ZR19 in front and 275/30 ZR19 in the rear.
What tire pressures should I be running here? The car's manual and the sticker on the fuel door do not list these sizes.
I'd also appreciate your comments on the Eagle F-1's. They seem to have received good reviews elsewhere. Thanks.

I have the same setup for tire sizes and according the place that installed them for me, it is 38 PSI for the fronts and 42 for the rear. The guy looked it up in some book and quoted the numbers off of there.

I don't know about being staggered and all but I'd just do 40 all around. I don't get how it would be lower up front with more weight being up there. Is it because of the smaller tire size or....

Thanks Gents...
I called a Goodyear dealer today and they suggested 36 front and 43 rear so it seems that David d23 is close to the mark... Thanks Guys...

You could call another tire shop and get a totally different answer. I have been told 38 front 42 rears. For my 2 cents worth speaking from experience 36psi up front is good for a comfort ride but if you hit a pothole your rims will be cactus.

I also wrote to Goodyear directly...
I went on their web site and asked them the same question... I will post the reply when it comes back...
I'll call another local shop as well and get another opinion... Maybe I'll collect all the answers and just average them out! LOL

Absolutley agree ( one bent and one cracked 19' rim later). Go 38-42 allround
