SL600 Exhaust: Video
#26
None what so ever. When I had my E55, I did the same thing and it was horrible. The 600, not so much. Infact, it's at a minimum. You hardly notice the difference... or maybe I'm just used to it. I can go ahead and do an inside video for you if you want, and I'll drive it up and down the street. Let me know, that way you can judge for yourself if it's something you want to deal with.

Will do! I'm leaving my beast at my shop tonight and taking a pos home, but say... within the next few days I'll bump this thread back to the top and I'll include an inside freeway run, an outside run and I don't know, maybe a donut or two hahaha, maybe not the last part.
Stay tuned... but I assure you in advance, there isn't much to worry about.

I've had it done to a SL55 as well. We straight up removed absolutely everything silencing the vehicle, at least as far back as we could as per the owners instructions-- and against my better judgement. It was incredibly loud, I mean it would put Cobra's to shame, plain and simple.
The owner eventually came back and requested everything be put back on, complaining about the loss of torque and such. I definitely do not recommend it. I think just a resonator delete coupled with a set of K&Ns really sets the car off nicely.
And I still kept the same set up. Essentially, we "dumped" the exhaust old school style. That way I don't have to deal with an awkward look and should I ever need to re-attach the pipes, it's a simple ten minute job. So, everything looks the same.

I really enjoyed the stealthness of the stock exhaust on my old 600.
