Wow. Very nice indeed.

If I had known Victor was going to Costa Mesa, I very well would have tried just getting my *** over there to get my work done!

I must be a mind reader or something. Looks great, have you thought about loosing the roof rails? I have a neighbor with a BMW 335 wagon and he took of the roof rails and it totally transformed the car. I'm not saying your car looks bad, it's beautiful, but it really gave his car a stealth look and made it appear much more sleek. It's your car, don't let me tell you what to do, you have done it perfectly and on such a rare, unique ride.

i just can't see it without the rails but I have also not thought about it either. Perhaps I should photo shop them out to get the look... Well, someone else would have to do that for me.
I'd be interested in seeing a picture of your neighbor's 3 series wagon. I bought one for my wife and she loves it.

I fly home from Vegas tomorrow, I will try to snap a few pix of the 3 series this week if I see it outside.

sorry for going OT These damn trucking companies! LOL! I own a trucking company that operates 60 trucks out of Chicago and Dallas. After the nightmares I went through shipping my car to California (2 weeks from Chicago to LA) and home from Vegas ( exact opposite, truck arrived and picked up my car a day early and got the it home before I got there). It got me thinking about putting 5-6 trucks in service shipping cars. I have already got quotes on top of the line Feather Lite trailers and I am crunching the numbers to see if the rest of it makes sense.

If you decide to go ahead with it... hit me up on PM or email... Maybe we can get you to handle all of VRP's transport. Alot of ours cars in the shop are out of state.

I'd like to work into our package pricing door-to-door transport of customer cars.. (ie.. Customer buys a VR700 and we handle pickup and return of their vehicle in enclosed trailer).

I am looking for a company to partner up with on this service and be our exclusive transport.

We've got California, Houston, and another location in Detroit coming on board.

burble...burble...burble...

I got my baby LATE last night so I haven't had the time to really open her up yet. Just a quick sprint down the road..

First observations are that it's a completely different car. It seems very fast and it's going to take some getting use. In my mind the lumpy idle makes me think that it has now crossed a threshold from a luxury sports wagon.

I'll post a little more once I get some miles on her. We'll be going for a long drive this weekend...

Drives Slowly
Please take it to the track today. I need to see numbers.

BTW, how lumpy is "lumpy"?

It not bad at all. Certainly more noticeable when in 1st gear and you can see the rpm's just blipping. I'll take a video over the weekend and post it up.

Can I assume you're keeping the cams?

I'll probably get to the track next week. I'm racing around today trying to get my summer shoes fitted.
