Probably switching to a ES350 ULTRA
$611 a month lease florida tax in, 0 out of pocket and they roll in all fess and first payment, $45925 car.
I am getting the car is loaded to even pano roof, rear shade , 14 speaker mark levison and park sensors with climate control seats (heat / cooled seats), seat extender, semi analine leahter, active headlights, cool different rims and it gets more than double the gas mileage.
According to what I am reading, we are heading towards a depression and not a recession.
It's difficult to compare the rocket I have now but spending twice as much makes 0 sense.

By far the most under-rated car on the road. You have to know your cars to tell the difference between one and a LS460 from a distance (even close-up in some situations). They ride great, are Lexus smooth and surprisingly, are somewhat of a "bat out of hell" with the near 300 hp engine. I actually think they are nicer cars than the GS Series (wider, longer, bigger...)
Nice buy and great deal.

Did you factor in the loss of the depreciation on your E55 and if we hit a depression, im just going to outrun the repo men and never pay a dime on my car..muhuhwahahaha

The Lexus ES350 is little more than a reliable, durable and, and forgettable Toyota Camry. If you get this will you join the Lexus forum? Hope you enjoy your ride.

yeah i leased one foe the wife nice smooth ride and very quite but doesn't handle well through the turns. Like you said excellent on gas that's why we got one as she commutes 80 miles a day. I leased mine with 15k miles a year for $420 a month tax included and minimum drive off. I basically got the car bellow invoice as my mother in-law bought one the same day.

i guess you'll be the first to go from an e55 to an es350, but hey to each his own.
Time to change your siggy....just kidding.
Good luck to you sir...I hate paying $70 per tank, but that feeling disappears quickly once I drive off.

4 wheeled car.
DING DING DING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This man hit the nail on its head!! I had a 2006 GS and that **** was nice. But I also had to drive a 2007 ES350 for loaner and man what a piece of ****. It's a FRONT WHEEL DRIVE! Based off of the Camry! Sure it has power, but when you punch it and understeer, you'll understand.
It may have all the bells and whistles, and you'll be impressed with the car at first, but after a couple of months, you'll kick yourself in the butt. There's a reason why things cost what they cost, and other's don't cost as much as they do. Otherwise, everybody would be rocking real diamonds instead of cubic zirconia!
Keep your Benz. Plus it's safer. But if you're worried about money, get yourself into a used E350 or something...

I still have my E55 and my wife loved the ES350 so I bought it for her. Torque steer and hard driving are not in my wife's mind when buying a car. If it's quiet and drives nice and comfortable, it's cool. That's definition of a Lexus in general.
I am looking at leasing a new 2008 IS350 with Nav / climate controlled seats and I have a $450 a month $0 Out of pocket 48 month / 12 K offer on the table I am considering. Gas Mileage is in the mid 20's and the car goes 0-60 in the low to mid 5's, so it's in play.
I am just sick of spending $900 in gas a month between her escalade and my E55. I have the money, I just do not want the saudi prince's $2.7 M to spend on camels thanks to me.
