very impress with the 55.would it go further than 155mph?(stock)
I was on the 5 FWY to San Diego this afternoon and not to mention the outside temp at 103f, there was an IS 350 with mod I think (he had a HKS exuast from what I can tell) well this guy kept followed me so close wanting to race and it was really annoyed how he kept coming closer and closer behind me and next to me gave me the snobby looks so the road was clear and I let him go first about 4-5 cars lenght in between, oh mannnnn! I passed him just like a piece of cake and couple seconds later I realized I was doing 151MPH I wanted to go faster but it wasn't safe to do so. I couldn't say more how much I am impress with this beast
and I would imagine how crazy it would be with stage 1 or 2 upgrade. I even felt confident with the handling at that speed (had on the sport2 mode)
What is the stock 55 cut-off at? would it let me go up to 200MPH
?

Well I didn't pay attention to the speedometer until I felt the pause then I looked at it (it was 151mph)
Out of the subject but are all the stock US P'cars F'cars cut off at 155mph too?

i like to ride my bike
Well I had an E63 passing me today and I doubt it was less than 250, km that is, and a E55 should do 300 easily, but not a lot more. Although the speedo tells you so.

While 200mph is definitely there in an E55- I dont find the Airmatic suspension to feel all that comfortable or safe at that speed. Now my M6 is a different story

Airmatic is truly scary at high speeds. ABC is a little more confidence inspiring up to about 150(Don't ask me how I know, I've only been driving Sunny55's SL55 for about 2 weeks now)

P cars can go as quick as drag will allow them, same for Fezzas, Lambo etc.
As Vic said, it's a good thing the E55 is limited though. It'd float off the road any quicker. New AMG's like CL63 and black series are more planted, apparently

Sorry, but what is the difference between ABC and Airmatic? I have driven my friends SL with ABC and I didnt feel that much of a difference between my car and his. I thought that any difference was due to the shape of the car.

The two systems are basically similar, but the ABC uses hydraulics and airmatic uses pressurized gas. Being that liquids don't compress, the response is quicker in ABC (hence the ACTIVE BODY CONTROL) but the Airmatic is lighter. Also, ABC uses 4 sensors, since it literally tries to work all four corners. The ABC is an older system and NOT the replacement to Airmatic. It is actually the other way around. The new S now has Airmatic as an option and I assume the next generation of whatever active suspension they use will be in the S soon. There are many hydraulic systems these days that do not have the same issues as the older ABC platform. Oh yeah, as far as reliability, the ABC has less of a tendency to spring leaks, but the Airmatic is much cheaper to repair. Last thing, I have always found the ABC to be more stable at speed, but I've also been plenty comfortable in the E at 160.

The ABC was more stable at speed like Jangy said especially over 160 mph but since the cars have different chassis the handling part is apples vs. oranges. There was much less yaw in the ABC car (lean) and it felt more like it was on soft coilovers (very soft) but I actually liked the response of the airmatic better in turns. The ABC was too isolated while I got much more chassis and road feel from the airmatic. Again this could also be attributed to the huge weight difference of these two animals. I have always felt that airmatic was too soft though.
