Cabin Dust & intake Filters

I am approaching Service F and 50k miles on my e55 ... I am thinking about DIY'ng as much as i can so the stealership does not rape me.

How many types & quantinty of air filters do we have??

I know there are 2 intake Filters ... but i am getting confused researching cabin/dust filters ... I believe there are also 2 activated charcoal filters ?? and another such dust filter ??

Also, where is a good place to buy them??

This is the main thread that confused me: https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...t=filter+cabin

Interested to know this too... mine says 1062 miles to service F.

Autohausaz.com shows three different cabin filters for the AMG E55..

2118300018 x 1 per
2118300128 x 1 per
and
2118300818 x 1 (pair) per

Then the regular intake air filters too

1130940004 x 2 per

?????

D Bst,

Were you able to find out any more info?
Anyone chime in to explain the differences?

Not too sure and still looking into this... but it would appear there are the two activated charcoal filters inside the cabin (up and under the passenger footwell - I verified this on Friday).

Looking briefly online this weekend I see that the main cabin intake filter is just in front of the firewall on the passenger side (above the aux battery). Not opened the box there yet (today perhaps) and have found that this other filter might either be a dust filter or a combi dust/smell filter (ie. carobon loaded).

I'm going to pull the box open later and see what part number I have fitted in for now.
