Quote: ok, i plugged the LED city light bulb a few days ago...
the lights were blinking...
luckily, eric came to town on time and fixed the problem.
he added a resistor at the base of the bulb and works perfect!
Now that’s service. Looks sharp!

e1000 = lighting guru extraordinaire. Three for three – I’m copying his DIY.

mine doesn't appear to be as bright cuz of the euro trunk insert...
They look great, I have been lucky with my Rear LEDs on the W211 but not so lucky on the W210. So I have a second mod that will help to make them last much longer. I'll PM it to E1000 to add to his DIY, this weekend.
Here are some resistor solutions (this is gen 1).

i'm not registered at benzworld.

did you just pop in LED's for your license plates??? That's nuts. nlpamg and I have tried everything under the sun and spend TOO MUCH money trying to find something that works. It's always been that they either blink or eventually burn out in about a month or so.

The way I did it, the LED bulbs fit into the stock housings just above the license plate. You have to take the trunklid lining off to attach resistors so that the LED's don't throw bulb out errors. The resistors that I used are 5w 25ohm resistors.

Since you will make a video of the NEW feature of the trunk closer

Make a video of the Distronic in motion with the Underline /spacing of the vehicle in front of you...it will show set speed as well
also see IF you can get sound then tail gate a car to set off the beeper/warning

Now only IF we can make the image on the IC change to what it is aka Motorcycle/truck etc

That is sick does it close whenever you hit the lock on the keypad?

I contacted mbenznl after seeing your thread the only thing they have for me is the ash tray delete which I think I'm going to get other than that its just the command unit and phone adapter which I have both.
