Anyone here interested in buying my V1 Radar setup complete?
The guys who installed it tried ebay but nobody jumped on it so I figure I would throw it out on the forum.
You will get the following.
Brand New Mirror already modified with the display, speaker and all controls built inside. Mirror housing is black. All functions work, auto dim, homelink, map lights SOS etc. Direct plug in.
Latest version of the V1 unit mounted in a custom house pod cover built into the rear decklid speaker grill.
PM for photos or details.
i paid $3000 install looking for less than half of that just to unload it quick.

I saw it on ebay, great deal! The issue for me is that my mirror is gray & I don't think it would blend well. Almost called them to see what a housing swap would run, if it's possible without doing the whole thing over again.
Pics of it are here for anyone interested: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...237481722&rd=1

Andy this mirror was gray and dyed black. The way they did this they used an E55 and E63 mirror to make it all happen
I just called them they will swap housings on your gray housing for no charge they told me so let me know or call the guys directly. Or they can dye this one gray for around $75 for the materials and time.
it is a good deal and it will take 1 hour or less to install so anyone can do this and it works so damn well and looks so trick.

How well did the unit perform back on the package tray like that? Did you notice much drop off compared to normal set ups on the front windshield? I'm doing a similar install on my W210 so I'm curious.

07 SL55 P30 Designo - Sold, 06 E55 Wagon, 04 CLK55A - sold
I have an '06 E55 wagon and assume the mirror would work fine. My question is for the back "pod". What would I have to do to make it work in a wagon? I checked out the K40 (wireless) this week with front & rear diffusers... anyone use that set up? Any idea how it would compare to the V1? Thanks.
