Comman Navigation Freezing up on me.

Comman Navigation Freezing up on me.
My command unit freezes up when i turn it on. The mercedes sign will come on and it'll freeze up with no audio, after a while it'll come back on and work just fine. This happens about half the time and the rest of the time the unit works fine with no problems.
Any suggestions?

They usually take care of that for me at my dealership. They just pop in a DVD into the unit and the thing will update itself in about 2 minutes. This is such a minor thing that most likely your dealership will not even charge you for it even if you are out of warranty.

also forgot to mention, this problem popped up just after i got a signal showing weak battery. I took it in and had them replace the accessory battery (not the main battery) but this problem, the nav freezing up on me, never went away. I'm not sure if it's related.
Any other updates would be appreciated.

Thanks, i'll take it in and have them do that.

Don't mention the battery problem yet. Wait to see if the firmware update will fix your problem.
