Going price on an '08 E63?

My lease is about up and I'm considering jumping into another lease, since the MB lease rates are pretty good right now. Of course, that's only half the battle. I'm curious what the cars are currently selling for out there. Anyone make a recent purchase that can offer up some assistance?

I did see one on Autotrader that kind of surprised me. It had the AMG perf package, so the MSRP was $103.9k, but they were discounting the car $11k, making the asking price $93k. Sounded like a pretty good deal. I'm really not that excited about getting one with the AMG perf package though (I actually like the other wheels better).

I leased my '06 at the same point of the model year as right now, and I was able to get ~$7k off sticker back then. Given Mercedes has tightened their resid values (a 24 month lease is now 62% for 10k miles, when I got my '06 the resid value was 68% for 27 months!), I'm hoping to get more off the sticker price of the car to make up for the decrease in the resid values.

Anyway, any help on what to expect for pricing is appreciated.

MB credit is offering a .9% finance rate for a 6 year loan right now- it's so low that it might make more sense to buy than lease for many people.

I'm confused. Can you tell me exactly how much down (out of pocket) and how much a month and terms of your expiring lease? Don't forget you also get the MB loyalty, since you are at lease end. MB didn't contact you?

Anyhow, since you literally lease (as in don't buy after), why do you care about the numbers game? Just add up what it costs you and let the dealer, MB, and finance worry about the details.

d.
I don't understand how leases work so can't help there but I will say is I'm with you in preferring the standard E63 wheels. However, perf pkg is nice, especially the vital LSD, and at an 11k discount I'd take the car and just have them change the wheels out. They'll agree to this.

All E classes have a solid $10000 - $15000 in them, PLUS MB Finance will also throw in the loyalty, which can get pretty high (depending on your loyalty). It also helps if your GM and Finance manager call them and point out the number of MBs under your roof .

I just got my dad an E350 for $3K down and $600 per month on a $54+K sticker car (39 months, 12K iles per year). That means that he will end up paying $25800 over the entire 39 months, or an actual cost of $662 per month. We got a C300 and C350 at the same time with similar deals with actual costs working out to $425 and $450 per month for 39 months. The $450 for the C350 was an extra deal, because it was for my wife and I do enough business with the dealership.

Point being, I'd be looking to pay about $1300 per month, max for a fully loaded E63 lease. Obviously, insurance and crap aren't included.

I dunno about the 0.9% offer for buying, but that would be around the same monthy payment and may not be a bad deal.

Hey Jangy, The deal I am offered right now is 27 Months e3504matic 56k sticker, basically just P1 non metallic. 10k per year, 2400 out of pocket, 490 plus tax. Can I get lease loyalty as well?

you're kidding me right? any more details on this? holy **** 0.9% is what you'd expect from Ford, not MB. I'd get me an E63 if it was at 0.9% and 15k off sticker.

I would ask, but that sounds like a sweet deal so i'd bet they already used it. My dealer showed me the list of each model with the current $ savings for each thing. The Cs basically only have about $5K in them MAX, but the Es are loaded, ESPECIALLY an E350 4matic. All of the 350s are a great price right now.

Also, i think you may have to be exchanging a current loan / lease with MB Finance to qualify.

I just did an 08 lease - 33mo/10k/$5500 total out of pocket plus wheel and tire insurance for 1133/mo. Sticker was 94k.
