WTB: Mercedes AMG airbox
hey guys i want to buy the mercedes amg airbox for the v8 models. these come on 55s and 63s. i have a e500 but i want to get that airbox and modify it a lil bit to work for my car. if anybody is selling one or know of a place where i can get one please let me know, pm me or email me at brashed91@yahoo.com

I think a few companies have released airboxes for these cars. I just ordered the one made by VRP for my 63 engine. I think they also make a 55 box. A 500 box...dunno. Might want to check them out. Rennetech also makes one...

well i dont think im going to spend all that money to get a renntech airbox. the reason being is becuase there was a guy who had a clk500 and got a 55 airbox and customized it to fit the car and dynoed it, he got 20hp. i heard this from my cousin who told me about the thread. my cousin also did it and he said he feels a lot more power. thats why i wanted it and i mean if anybody is selling theres due to they bought the cf airbox please let me know.

Im dont think I am going to sell mine. In 2-3 years when i sell my car I will be demodding my 63 to put back to stock and will most likely resell my mods here 
I know several people including myself around here have purchased the new CF boxes from VRP. You might find someone around here willing to part with theirs. How much are you willing to pay? Send me a PM with your offer. If its good enough maybe I will sell mine...
