Smoked bumper lights for E63

What do you guys think of these for a flint grey E63?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/07-08...spagenameZWDVW

Should I go with just clear and or these smoked ones? These smoked ones may blend nicely with my flint grey...

DEf not clear, looks cheap. Euro strips are the best option, but smoking, or painting to match will work perfectly!!

I think those smoked ones will look perfect on my color. Thanks for the feedback.

Hmm. I didn't think they made euro strips for the E63? I was told that I would have to replace my entire front bumper in order to have the side marker lights removed??

Hmm, not sure.. I guess the whole strip doesnt pop out like it does on the 55? Never really examined the 63 for that..

I know the side bumper lights are slightly different, or at least the removal is. Many talk of removal on the E55 as a piece of cake, the E63 removal is a PITA.

Not sure about the front, but I can tell you the the rear impact strips on the E63 do not pop off. They are molded onto the bumper. However, the thin little chrome strip pops off.

I would assume the front is the exact same.

The 63 doesn't have removeable running lights. You have to paint them or get a Euro bumper.

Jangy, so these lights offered on e-bay in the link above would not work on the 63? Or do you mean that the Eurostrip would not work?

The lights will work. the current light housing does NOT sit flush with the bumper. it sticks out. You can still easily pop it out and paint it, but the "bump" would stay. The lights being sold are just a tinted version and would work. i would prefer them over orange.

The impact strip on an E63 is actually a fake. Go look at it and you will see it does not come off. It is just there to mimic the older W211 style.
