Any fast E55's in the MI area?
Well, after all this Z06 vs. E55 talk, I thought I would see if there are any modded / heavily modded E55's in the MI area that want to play and get some runs on video for everyone's viewing pleasrue?
I had a race set up with Jrcart with the Black series, but he wasn't able to make it out. So, if there are any contenders within the area, please let me know.

Oh man, it would have been fun anyways. Had you been modded, I would have definitely made the trip.

I got a Black 08 Z06 with some goodies. Gallardo will have to wait..
It made 520 rwhp with a cam and headers. I see you have a 996 tt in your sig. What is that all about? and why don't I see a monster Evo in your sig anymore?

You racing my E55 it would be a slaughter in your favor of course...but my Turbo should be very interesting. Someone would have to have at least a RT Stage 5 with serious weight reduction, limited slip, drag radials, and 100 shot of NO2 and then race from a dig to 130 ish to have a chance...on a roll (45-160)..i bet you would still win. JMO

Sounds great Fadi! I think my Turbo should run mid to high 10's at 132-134ish the way it sits so should be pretty good for the rest of summer. Tym is working on a 750 package with twin 30R turbos and larger inter cooler cores which should be good for low 10's at 137-140ish! Have you taken your beast to the track? Also what color did you get, what mods have been done etc...I want details man!!

I'm dying to see these races. There are a few 996TT 600+'s in my area, as well as some modded E55's but I can never seem to get any of them to race (they are also my friends so I guess we respect eachother's rides and have nothing to prove 
lol). And...I hope I didn't open my mouth too soon because I know SleeperX/Frank's got a 'Vette slayer on his hands 
BTW, Zlicious, I always see you on CF and I didn't know you have a cam. Which cam you got?

Les (and ItalionStallion), I got an 08 Black Z06 with a Katech cam (springs, retainers), Kooks LT's w/o cats (stock muflers), Halltech CAI, and a tune. It did 508 with 500 miles on motor on a mustang dyno and it did 520 rwhp on a dynojet with 1000 miles on the motor. It now has 2500 miles on it.
I went to the track but did not get any successful runs. First run I almost lost it on the big end of the track and got on the brakes very quickly. I coasted through the rest of the strip and ran a 11.6@90 mph w/ a 1.9 60'
. On the second run, my clutch over heated and stuck to the ground. That was all she wrote. I packed up and came home. My guess is that this is a 10.8'ish car @ 130 or so.
Your 996 TT with 627 awhp will destroy my Z06. I will definitely be up for a run, but I know the outcome will be brutal (for me, lol). I am only a few hundred lbs lighter and you got me by OVER 100 wheel hp. But you know me man, win or lose, I would LOVE to run that Porsche. So, keep in touch and let me know when you have some time. Like Improviz said, we will need to get a video of both the Benz and the Porsche against the Z. There has been some disputes on here with the whole Z vs. E55, and hence Improviz's request for this race vid..

Wheels are still stock colored, but not for long. I will be getting them blacked out with tinted windows and lowering it soon. Should look pretty cool.
