Black out sneak peak (pics)...

I just got the headlights blacked out. I'm waiting for my CCW rims to get back from the painter (a combo of gunmetal mesh and glossy black). I've got the headlight trim rings and rear trim rings get a water transfer treatment that will mimic a carbon fiber look...the front grill will also get the same treatment.

After all that, the chrome pieces all over the car will get blacked out. The fogs got replaced with HID lamps.

Here is a side view of the CCW's prior to painting. I should get them back the hopefully by Monday.

Definitely unique in a good way, wondering myself how that would look since the C63 has blacked out headlights. Can you get a front shot without the headlights on?

Can't wait to see pics of the rims....

Pics without headlights on...

The new blacked out grill will be coming back from the painter monday along with the repainted rims... I can't wait to black out the chrome body trim.

Damn that looks sick. How much did you pay for the headlight tinting?

Love the black lights in the front... But I never liked that grille on the E... The star is just way too big.

No offense taken...everybody's got different taste. I enjoy it and I think I'll like it even more when the grill gets blacked out.

Love the blacked out headlights and taillights! I want to do that. I'd also like to black out the side trim and tags. Wife won't let me spend any more money on the car now though.

I stopped by my audio/video shop and they have the grill mostly done (i.e. faux carbon fiber water transfer)...still waiting on the chrome star to be completed in faux carbon fiber. The headlight trim rings came back too...I just layed them on the headlights just see how they would look...not bad...but that's me.

The rear trim rings are still being worked on...I'm still waiting for the painted wheels (gunmetal center mesh with glossy black lip) to get back from the painter...

"faux carbon fiber"

Interesting. So they painted in a way to make it a carbon fiber look?

If I tried to explain, I would mess it up. Here is the basic process:

I like it are the front headlight rings metal or plastic?
You may want to check the forward hook on the bumper, looks as if it is not engaged in the fender.
