Underdrive pulleys for the accessories??
I guess i haven't really paid attention, but who makes good accessory underdrive pulleys for us? I want to turn a few down a notch and see what i get.

Not a bad idea Jangy, I think EVO had one for the water pump, but I believe it was more For clearance, rather than to change the drive ratio.

You could install a switch to your alternator, and take it off line for races (like switching off the AC) much easier than a pulley change on the alternator.

LOL. I did this on a 5.0 liter Mustang, and it was worth almost half a tenth......until I killed the battery in the staging lanes by forgetting to switch it back.

Half a second? i'm definitely doing it. Is it even reasonable to expect 5 - 10% from all the pulleys?

Half of a tenth - 0.05 second on a car that weighed 3280# with driver.

EDIT: YM has faster fingers than I.

aahh the mustang days.

While this trick definitely worked on older cars our 55 ecu disables the alternator and ac clutch at wot if I'm not mistaken.
