Has anyone seen this...ASR 725 HP M5!!
I will let the video do the talking, this car packs an insane punch 
, time to turn up the boost for me..
I definitely know an E55 with pulley, headers, HE, TB and a 150 shpt will be good competition for it, not to mention will trap 125+ and probably see high tens to low 11s with good weather.
I just love the way the M shifts, Bang, Bang, Bang, lol!!

my thoughts exactly and i commented on this with some m owners. asr claimed that the car would easily run 10's when they first completed it a few months ago and i called them on the statement. ironically, talk about the car's 1/4mile performance has been quiet ever since.
i'm sure that car would be insane at high speeds but give me the same amount of n2o and i'll still put money on the e55.

What the M's lack I guess is that massive torque to get them off the line, but I guess they gave that up for the up top power of the gearbox.

I know this car and the owner of ASR. This M5 is insanely fast. It's got all the bolt-ons, tuning software, and 150 shot I believe. I saw it run at Moroso a couple times and I think it ran very low 12's or high 11's. The owner designed it for mostly track use. The owner of this car has some other serious machines as well.

from what i understand, asr/abid has a great reputation but they need to quit making dumbass unverified claims. he recently commented on the m5board that this car went from 0-165mph in 15 seconds (according to his video). the car gets enormous wheel spin through 1st, 2nd, and bit of 3rd and then doesn't even get to the top of 5th gear which ends at 158 on a stock m5 and this one has a 3.91 diff. i don't care how good a tuner is...if they continued to make bogus claims like they have with every step of this car, i'd take my business elsewhere!
someone said it in the veloce thread and it appears to be correct...bmw guys tend to believe anything a tuner says!
