just picked up the iPhone 3G, coming from the treo, it's quite an upgrade.... i read a little about the instict, but went with the iphone.... apple just seems to do these things very very well....
I bought two iphones, one for myself and the wife, using mobileme, the phones, computers, and web apps are setup to sync contacts, share calendars, and other info instantly over the air.... if either of us updates a calendar item, contact, etc, the info is instantly is pushed out to all of the systems....
the only thing it's missing is the slingbox app, which should be out soon....

I've had the iPhone since it came out...it is quite seemless (Like all of Apple's products).
Getting two of the new 3G phones...AT&T works great...much better than the Nextel/Sprint service we used to have.
You can sync all your important info with your computer and back it all up!
I love iPhone (No, I don't work for Apple)

bone stock E55 AMG
just ordered iPhone 3G yesterday...
expected to pickup in about a week or so...
coming from Treo (Palm), Mongul, Blackberry, none of them met my expectations and at least 1 major flaw in each of its own...
used 1st gen iPhone for few days so i know what to expect (or more)... only drawback to iPhone is no "today" screen to show ur calendar in startup/main screen...

I can't say for the iPhone 2.0, but for 1.0, my son runs the today-calender, weather and sport scores all on his start-up screen. He says it is software called "intellescreen". Of course, his is hacked.
