75 days and counting...That gives me plenty of time to keep buying stuff for my car 
I made several nice aquisitions this week.
Do we have a list of "for sure" attendees yet? Looks like a few of the left coasters are getting cold feet.
Somebody needs to stir the pot a little to get those guys motivated again. Talk is cheap when you are looking at an event that is 8-9 months away, now we are getting down to crunch-time and need to seperate the men from the boys. Who's in?

Josh...nix my last idea. Go trade your car in on a car that is about a foot shorter and then drive it to Chicago and I will squezze it into my trailer. LOL That CLS is a little longer than it looks ain't it? 193.5 inches, over 16 feet!

Already in the works...do you think I would want to be locked up in my motorhome for the 16 plus hour drive with only a couple of dudes? I was just on Craigslist LA and it appears the going rate for man ****** is $150-200 per hour. I bet you could charge an extra $50 just because you will be picking them up in a cool car. You should be able to pay for your entire trip to MIR in about a week. LOL!

Im definately coming, Maybe we can start a juicee fund to getthe whale out? I really think it would be best if we simply take the fastest CLS 63 in the USA to MIR, and unfortunately its not mine anymore, the supercharged CLS 63 will luikely dispatch plenty of 600's and 65's . The 55's well they will be overmatched for this car.
I am going to be there and I may bring my CLS but if Rick agrees I will simply help him get his to MIR as it will definately be fiercer comp than my 100% stock CLS..I sold all my mods...

Remember, my car is not done, I'm being generous, and offering up what I believe will be a realistic race, close race. Remeber, my 11.4 pass was on motor, no spray, I have not been able to run the car on the bottle in good conditions yet. The bottle is worth at least 2/10th's with the 100 jets installed. Plus I have all the other goodies that have already been purchased and are being installed over then next 1-4 weeks as I recieve them. Included in this list of new mods are the following a CF drive shaft, the new TCU tune, crank pulley, an updated ECU tune, the 13.5 pound CF Sparco DTM seats are on their way. Just last night I finally installed the CF battery which saved my close to 40 pounds. Last but not least, there is a very slight chance that my heads and cams will be ready for this event, if that is the case you are gonna need more than a second head start, unless you have something done to your car I don't know about. I hope that is not the case, I'm being honest and forthcoming with all my mods, I would expect the same courtesy from you.

A timed tree is the only honest and fair way to do it, I'm not out to hustle any of you guys, I leave that for the punks on the street. Some of you guys are like friends now and although I do prefer money races, I'm not out to rob, trick or cheat anyone out of any money and I would expect the same in return. In my opinion there is nothing more exciting than a 12 second car vs a 13.5 second car on a timed tree money race, anything can happen, the guy with the slower car can still come out a winner if he is the better driver.
I realize my time at the top of the 63 list is going to be limited, I'm really not sure why nobody else can even come close to my times, I believe I'm a .500 faster than the next quickest 63 on all the lists I've looked at. Somebody better step up soon before I put a full second or more between us. I would assume that the other BS with the spray could get some times at least down in 11.5's, what's his story? Is he attending the MIR event?. I actually find it quite baffling to be honest, my car is really not that heavily modded (yet). This is all simple bolt on goodies, there should be soem E's or CLS's nipping at my heels by now.

It will be nice to get a 63 in the heavy mix of 55's.
As faras another fast 63 there are two cls 63's one running NOS built by ASR and the other getting some custom work now. Has headers, tune , wheels, cams, parktronic removed and exhaust. (parktronic) removal was a joke.
You are definately going to be a difficult car to top as you have done some very choice mods and understand weight very well.
Rick is 135 lbs, he hangs with Paris Hilton and Lindsey Lohan, he is a very instinctive driver. His car should pick up alot with a SC....We shall see.
Jordan needs to get his car back out and hit 11.50's at 124.......
If I were you I would be gunning for the all motor record of the E55, that would be sik, if a 63 dethroned a 55 in that category

Ok...I'll bite. The CLk63 BS is the lightest 63 by about 400lbs so it inherently has an advantage over every other 63 model. There are something like 500 CLK63 BS in the US. I can assure you that 90% were bought by collectors who will never modify their cars in any way. The other 10% will modify but an overwhelming majority will never run NOS in their car (kind of assuming the same percentages of MB enthusiasts on this board who will never run NOS on their cars). Of these handful of cars that would possibly run NOS...how many have spent the kind of money you have on all the go fast parts? I would say no one has invested as much in their CLK63 BS. Other 63 models have to resort to some drastic means to cut weight and boost hp...but so have you. So I am in no way surprised that you stand on top of the 63 mountain.
