The barametric pressure alone would give you roughly -900ft compared to a normal 29.7. 29.7 vs 30.47 is -900ft.
I come up with -2,080 ft without track elevation.NEt of track elevation and you guys had:
-2,000 ft..

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
My best of the day was 11.091 @ 124.57mph Pump gas, FULL interior (including all weather floormats but minus the spare), and no nitrous. The CCW's I received were the wrong offset so I had to settle with running on BFG d/rs on Koseis. The car will go tens on the et street radials. Maybe I will hit a test and tune when I get them in. I had one 1.59 60' time which would have broken the record ET but I had to let out because the rear end felt a little funny.
Matt- I'm really sorry buddy. Glad you were both ok. Nice pics!!! I dont know how you made my filthy car look clean!! My new wallpaper
John (jmf003) - It was nice to meet you and I was VERY impressed by your car. We had a couple good runs back to back! Is 11.4 a record for a SL55? Congrats!
Marko- What a BEAST of a car! Sorry I didnt have more time to chat with you at the track. You seem like a very cool guy

My car said 33 degrees when I was running at noon.
Also I MUST give props to Jay who made the second and last pass in my car in dyno mode with a launch from my idle at 580 rpm. He ran an 11.116@126.18 with a 1.689 60 foot. 1/8 was 7.199 at 98.86.
My first run was with 28 psi, lol. 11.416@126.57 with a 1.967 60 foot and 7.515@99.06mph in the 1/8.
What is weird is that while my 60 foot dropped by 0.3 tenths my ET only dropped by 0.3 tenths. Usually doesn't each 0.1 off the 60-foot translate to 0.15 to .02 off the ET? I was figuring if I could bring the 60-down to 1.6x I would see a 10.8x at high 126. Perhaps I had too low of psi in the tires at 15 on the second run creating more rolling resistance? Shet, I am not complaining.
I will scan the timeslips tomorrow and post. I think had I run some more and taken the filters out I might have seen a 10.99...there is always a next time...now I gotta go find some more HP with my current K2 tune from 2004! Maybe a 100 shot of NOS next year to hit 135 traps.
Ahmad and Jay thanks for setting up the event! Ahmad your car is stupid fast..what have you done differently to get it that fast from 11.4x?

HP's @ 450 baseline + track is cool and tight. I was there a month ago with 58F and starting line was SICK!
I also had a blast on our head-to-head runs, Ahmad, especially the second run. Glad to see you went even lower on a later run!
Yes, my 11.421 is now the lowest ET on Dragtimes for an SL55, narrowly edging Stephen K's 11.496 on NOS.
Congrats Ahmad, Jay, Marko, Jim, Craig, and John!
The MHP C63 ended up running a best of 11.59@119.75 on a 1.75 60'. Same v2 Cal, CF Boxes, DRs, 180 Stat, Thermal Intake gaskets.

My origional camera guy bailed on me 1 day before the event. My second guy had to leave just after the Viper crash(I dont thnk he got it on film though).
I crushed my previous fastest time with my regular renntech tuning to a 12.01 @ 118.16
I only got 4 runs in the morning before I think my torque converter burned up and couldnt run my car anymore. my car has MAJOR slippage from gear to gear now. Gonna end up at the shop monday morning. am a little bummed cause with the times guys where making I would have had 11's if I could have gotten a few more runs in

Anyway it was great meeting a bunch of you. Was a little depressing being a bystander for the second half of the day instead of running
Appears beyond the accidents that several people messed up their rides, so I guess I shoudlnt feel too bad.Again thanks to everyone who helped me with my car. Oxygen for having his SDS to read my computer and clear my codes so I could drive very slowly without my tranny locking into 2nd the whole time
