So they dont charge per car? Its a flat rate of $2k and you get the track with as many cars as you want? That would be AWESOME but I doubt it

I was thinking about bringing my SLR. I don't think it will rain. You guys forget that even the best weathermen are only batting .500 on precipitation forecasts two days into the week and .350 for 3 days and less than .200 on anything more than 3 days. You're canceling an even based on a report that historically has less than 20% accuracy in that time period. To each his own.

Who wants to bet that it doesn't rain on Saturday? Tough call Ahmad, I certainly understand why you're postponing it. But it's gonna suck when I'm outside raking leaves on Saturday when it's 50* and sunny.

Guys cut Ahmad some slack, a lot of it actually. I've been in his shoes before (putting on a track rental and facing paying the bill out of pocket) and when the planets aren't aligned it sucks. It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't kind of proposition.

How about this. Minimum for this track rental is $4k. If 40 of you want to run this saturday paypal me $104 (paypal fees) each by friday and you can have your track day then. Funny thing is in the past 4 months barely 20 people have paypaled me for a spot
I can go to the track every weekend, its not like I dont want to go and I'm trying to keep you guys from going. Jim is a baller, convince him to front the $4k and we can race this saturday! Unfortunately I dont have that kind of money to risk. It's on you guys, all the guys that are complaining about me not taking the risk, its on you now. I'm not doing this to make money, just to have fun.

22nd works for me, I am also down for any ATCO rental, I might even be able to get the Saleen out of the garage and cleaned up, 131mph trap with wheel spin the 1st 1/8th is a trip some of you might enjoy seeing.
And give Ahmad a break, he is the one that's gonna have hear the *****ing if it rains on the 15th.

Yep, DC weather has got to be the toughest in the US to predict. We have a saying around here. "If you don't like the weather in DC, stick around a few minutes, it'll change."
It would certainly suck for those that traveled. I just installed one of these in my car so I know Jim and Ahmad were gonna be scared to run me anyway.
