Curb Rash and Bent Rims - Fixed
I had my tires changed at about 15K and the shop must have been real busy because someone rushed and slightly bent my rims out of round.
I did not know it until I went back complaining they did a bad job balancing them. They were very nice and spent a lot of time to get them just right, but the guy pointed out that one of my rims was bent. Well how the heck!
Anyway, blueknight suggested these guys http://wheeltechniques.com in Santa Clara.
They did a great job on both some curb rash and straightening the rims. 3 of the 4 were out of round.
I discussed the place that did the original tire install, and their experience was the same as mine, the place usually does high quality work. So bending the rims was not indicative of their overall quality. Proving they did the damage would be very difficult, so I saved myself the time.

I've used WT twice. Will go back again. They do great work. Turnaround times are not the best, but with a little prodding, they get the rims done in a bout 1-2 weeks normally.
